I am really enjoying all these flowing daytime kimono cardigans that are the market right now. I love this style! By definition they really aren’t kimonos because they are shorter than traditional floor sweeping kimonos and they also don’t have a belt. In the past they were called Happi coats. One of my readers pointed that out so I did the research. Sure enough they used to be called Happi coats.  However, if you go to the store looking for a Happi coat they won’t know what you are talking about. Instead, the modern term for these garments is kimono cardigans.

I  was browsing Amazon the other day and found this one that I am wearing in the photos below. I love it and the price is just right too! I get lots of compliments every time I wear it too. Here is the link on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XB9RKS3/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2TCDABYQXEOTF

The You don’t need to spend a fortune in order to get in on this style. In fact I picked up two more at Forever 21 this past weekend while I was at the Mall of America. I blogged about the plethora of kimonos their store is selling this season: Style: Boho Kimono Look

To complete the look I am wearing a tank dress that I bought on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ASLRRV0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The look was then finished with Kendra Scott jewelry and black leggings. Easy and comfortable,  but the kimono always makes for a dramatic look. Which I think is awesome because this lightweight chiffon material flows beautifully even with the smallest movements.
