My kids had their annual costume day at preschool last week. It was a fun day with lots of candy, a costume parade, and special craft projects! The twins were Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story. Brielle was Rapunzel. They had different costumes for Halloween altogether, as we had themed costumes for the whole family.
Alex was fighting the costume, breakfast, getting ready for school, and life in general the morning before costume day at school. Fortunately, his teachers said he had a wonderful day! Let me just say it was so bad that he took off his shoes and socks and threw them before we left for school, and then I forgot to even put them in his school bag. Yep, my kid went to school barefoot. Justin was headed back to the school to take photos of their costume parade, so he took the shoes with him, along with the remainder of Alex’s costume he didn’t want to wear. Once he saw all the other kids dressed up, he wanted the rest of his costume and he had a great day! Thank goodness! All three kids enjoyed their special day at preschool. The teachers do such a wonderful job making every child feel special and loved.
I absolutely love the craft the school sent home with the boys. They are plates decorated with footprints and handprints of the boys. The fall theme is adorable! I look forward to bringing them out each year to display.
Here are some of the other photos from their costume parade. Thank you to my friend Shae for taking the photos of Brielle.
