We finally took the plunge and bought a travel trailer. We caught the wanderlust bug. I think my friend Elizabeth passed it on to me. We are certainly enjoying God’s beautiful creation through our travel adventures. This weekend we are trying out our new home at Possum Kingdom State Park. Justin and I are both newbies to this camper thing, so we are thankful our neighbors at the campsite were so helpful in getting us set up, because we had a few issues. There is a learning curve to getting set up. YouTube videos are helpful, but real life experience is how you really learn.
We purchased the camper from United RV in Fort Worth. We shopped online and at another location, but felt most comfortable with buying from United. The gentleman who helped us purchase at United was also named Justin. We purchased new and got the warranty as well, because we are warranty buying kind of people. Based on our experience and the quality of our camper I highly recommend United RV http://www.unitedrv.com. Everyone we encountered on staff there was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
We purchased a 30 foot Trail Runner.
I had a few requests for a tour of our new camper, so I thought I would share here on the blog. I hadn’t found a single camper where I actually liked the decor, so I knew I would be doing some work. This past week I sewed new curtains, recovered cushions, reupholstered cornices, and did a bit of shopping. Amazon has a great selection of RV supplies that are priced right.

Thank you!
I see that you have already customized it, and turned it into a traveling HOME. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve, but you will have so much fun, even with a couple of challenges along the way. Can’t wait to see more of your adventures in your new RV. Do you have a name for her/him yet?
Thank you! No name yet, good idea! We need to choose one asap.
