Family traditions are a part of making lasting memories within a family. When you marry, both spouses bring traditions to the relationship and you meld them together and sometimes you create new traditions. A new tradition for both Justin and I, was that of pumpkin patch excursions. We didn’t do this as kids ourselves, but since the first year we got married we haven’t missed out on a visit to the pumpkin patch during the month of October. We have photos every year of the memories we have made as a family at the pumpkin patch. This year we squeezed in our visit to the Flower Mount Pumpkin Patch the last weekend in October! It was perfect fall weather and the sun was shining bright for our outing. The kids had so much fun and we did too! I am thankful we have made these memories year after year- 7 pumpkin patch visits in 7 years! I may be dragging the kids there when they become teens, but traditions are so good for the soul of the family! Barron was with us for our first pumpkin patch visit, which established the tradition.
The Twins at their first Pumpkin Patch- October 2014
Below are photos from our pumpkin patch fun this weekend in Flower Mound. They had so much to offer at this location. All of which was free! All you have to pay for is parking. Bounce houses, tractor train rides, hay bale mazes, hay rides, and so much more completely free. This pumpkin patch location has been a blesssing for our family for three years now.
