This weekend Justin and I attended the XO Marriage Conference. It was our third or fourth year in a row attending. I am thankful for this marriage conference. Each year we strengthen and renew our relationship because of what we experience during the XO Marriage Conference weekend. This is a conference that draws attendees from all over the country and some abroad. The program is simulcast at many churches as well. We purchased our tickets for next year already. They went on sale today. The conference sells out every year. If you are interested in strengthening or improving your marriage then this event is for you. You don’t need to have “problems” to attend this marriage conference (although I am sure there are many that do). People with healthy marriages can make them even better at the XO conference. Here is the link to register for the 2020 XO Marriage Conference which will take place on Valentine’s Day weekend (Feb. 14-15, 2020) at Gateway Church in Southlake, TX: https://marriagetoday.brushfire.com/xo-conference-2020/451024
Here is some information from the XO Marriage website about the conference:
What to expect
“XO Conference is a one or two-day experience that provides expert marriage advice and practical teachings to help couples navigate their marriage journey. You’ll hear from Christian marriage expert Jimmy Evans, Dave and Ashley Willis, and many other leading speakers about the secrets to a healthy, thriving marriage. At XO, you can expect dynamic teachings, worship, and an inspiring environment that will help you and your spouse escape the ordinary and build a strong marriage.”
Jimmy Evans is a marriage expert and his expertise is based on God’s word. His messages are powerful. He is the backbone of the XO Marriage conference. I shared about what I learned from him previous years: https://livingjoydaily.com/?s=Jimmy+Evans&submit=Search
Below is from one of my favorite presentations by Jimmy Evans. It was on the topic of 10 marriage decisions to pre-make.
And this article here is about creating unity in marriage from a Jimmy Evan’s presentation at XO 2017: https://livingjoydaily.com/2017/02/15/the-top-4-way-to-create-unity-in-marriage/
The XO marriage conference is more than just speakers. It is an experience. They transform Gateway church into an amazing destination that relaxes, inspires, and brings couples closer. One of my favorite parts is the vow renewal that occurs at the end of each XO conference weekend. Justin and I renew our vows yearly at XO and we both take it to heart. We are thankful to Jimmy Evans and everyone that makes XO happen. We are looking forward to next year already!
