The way it has made my life easier is that I can select a devotional series and have it read aloud to me. In 2014, I read the entire bible from start to finish using this app. By reading I actually mean I listened to the bible being read to me. I listened while doing laundry, dishes, or while driving. Life is busy with small kids and I have a difficult time even getting alone time to shower. For me to realistically read (or listen) to the bible every day it is going to be done while I multitask.
I highly recommend this version of reading the bible in a year on the App, it is called: “Eat This Book- One Year Bible With Daily Psalm”. It is the one I used to read the bible in a year.
There are hundreds of devotionals on the app. All free of course! Many from great Christian leaders of our time, such as Joyce Myer.
You can choose devotionals on the app by topic such as parenting, marriage, work, leadership, and more. You can also find a variety of lengths of devotionals. Some are a few days, some are 30 days, and some are a year. Then there are a variety of lengths in between! I chose to read a 40 day version of the New Testament for the 40 days leading up to Easter last year. The great thing is that even while listening to these devotionals they are not a huge dedication of time each day. For the bible in a year that I listened to, most days were around 15 minutes of listening. 15 minutes a day is a pretty easy commitment to make to God!
