The Boho style is definitely on the market right now. This style can be found at Anthropology, Lulu’s https://www.lulus.com, Forever 21, Bellissima Babes (which I recently blogged about: Style: Bellissima Babes and Glam Boho), and Gypsy Outfitters https://www.gypsyoutfitters.com to name a few. It is a fun, whimsical style, that has a touch of elegance to it.
I prefer to make it a little more dressed up. I won’t be wearing my Boho kimonos with jean shorts and a tank top, like the 20-something’s are wearing. However, I can do the Boho style my own way and make it a little dressier. I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago:
The Kimomo is from Forever 21 (my find while quickly browsing at the Mall of America before catching a flight), the leggings are Felina, the shoes are generic patent leather Mary Janes, the tank dress is Nihoe, and the jewlery is from Kendra Scott.
The tank dress was a great find. I had searched for a long tank top to go with the Kimono look, as I have a few different open dusters and cardigans like the one in this photo. I couldn’t find a tank top long enough for me to be comfortable pairing with leggings. I did however find this Nihoe brand tank dress on Amazon. I ordered a couple different brands and this was my favorite. I ended up ordering more in a few other colors as well. These tank dresses are perfect for layering. Forever 21 had a bunch more of the Kimono styles available online; For a fraction of the Anthropology price. I am a fan of getting trendy styles at a better price, because I know I won’t be wearing them as long as more classic items in my wardrobe.
