Last weekend we attended a birthday party that had an Alice in Wonderland garden party theme. The guests were asked to wear hats too! Of course, that is my type of party as I love hats! Brielle loves hats too. She wore one of my fascinators for the party. She looked the part for the party!

The whole family was supposed to attend but while we were getting ready I noticed that Alex was developing hives. As I underdressed him to inspect his body I watched as they popped up and grew on his little body. I immediately got the children’s Benedryl and gave him a dose. That stopped it from progressing. Justin and I then talked about what we were going to do and we decided to divide and conquer. I took Brielle and Charlie to the party and Alex stayed home with Justin. We used the PediaQ app and a Physician’s Assistant came and made a house call to see Alex within an hour. She determined that he did have an allergic reaction, but we don’t know what caused it. He was better the next day, but we have been watching him close since then.

I was disappointed that Justin and Alex had to miss the party, but I was happy I was able to attend with the other two kids. Brielle and Charlie had a great time! It was a creative themed party that was very well executed! My friend Elizabeth did all of this for her sweet, intelligent, caring daughter Abigail. I don’t know of a kid more deserving of such a fabulous, whimsical birthday party. Elizabeth planned everything down to the details to make is so special. The photos describe the event better than I can with words.

The decor was so perfect for this theme! I absolutely loved it all! What really made the party extra special and different from other events we have attended was the Mad Hatter magician they hired. He was great! The kids laughed and squealed through the show. Lots of oohs and ahhhs with the magic tricks too.

Of course he selected several audience members to participate in the show. Brielle volunteered and was chosen. It was cute! She did a great job following directions too.

She wore a chicken hat. She had to pull the legs to make the wings flap so the magic could happen. He was very good with the kids, including Brielle. The magic show made the party even more memorable and special, as it was an experience we all shared in for the evening. All the kids sat and watched the entire show in amazement. It’s probably the only time I have been to Celebration Party Center and seen so many kids sitting still for that long and loving it too!

Thank you for inviting us to you birthday celebration Abagail. It was a fun evening that won’t be forgotten!
